Snacks for the healthy Foodie

Anyone who knows me will tell you that all I do is eat! I can eat SOOO much for a fairly small person, so it really is a good job that I like to train and what I like to eat is all nice and nutritious.. or I would be in some serious trouble!

For anyone out there who is a snacker, ( I’m a 3 big meals a day and a millions snacks type of girl), here is a little review of some of the amazing little foodie snacks I have been able to try from all the amazing London health food shops!

First on the list would have to be my very own Bliss Balls. For anyone who doesn’t know, I created my own Bliss Balls last year.. they are an indulgent truffle that is full of amazing nutrients, great for a snack, treat or pre/post workout. Inspiral do a range of flavours of these amazing super bites, my favourite being the banana supergreen! They are vegan, organic, gluten and sugar free.. and include 7 vegan protein sources! Such a nutritious and yummy snack bags to carry around with you, available at most Whole Food stores.

A serious weakness of mine, (refined sugar or not) is popcorn! There are very very few things that include added sugar that I really crave, but give me a bag of sweet and salt popcorn- I will not say no.. I will also take a sharing size bag, and I will not be sharing. So you can imagine how excited I was to come across a bag of sweet and salt popcorn, cooked in coconut oil, and made with coconut sugar! I can not get enough of this from Planet Organic:

For the chocolate addicts, I have a few good things for you! I love the bitter raw cacao and carob bars available in London, and the different flavours that come with them, here are a few of my favourites:

Coconut, coconut, coconut! I am nuts for anything coconut! Milk, Chocolate, Yogurt.. anything! Here are my favourite found coconut snacks, (please let me know in the comments if you know of anymore for me to try!)

When I talk to people who struggle to ‘give up’ unhealthy things, they always seem to find biscuits and cookies the hardest! There are sooo many easy, healthy and tasty recipes for cookies, and now you can even buy them – though these ones are a little pricey!

I make lots of my own snacks and I will continue to post them on here, but I really can’t help myself when I step into wholefoods! I would recommend all of the above products, hope you enjoy!
